About the Performance
Prepare for an extraordinary evening where ancient traditions, raw power, and fluid grace harmonize on the Venables stage. Primal Pulse brings together three exceptional forces for a mesmerizing celebration of percussion, rhythm, and movement.
Experience the thunderous, high-energy beats and grounded movements of Nankama Drum & Dance, showcasing the rich, vibrant heritage of West African percussion and Balafons. Witness the seamless, meditative mastery and martial precision of the Okanagan Valley Wudang team. Bringing the entire room into alignment is the Stage Rhythm Circle, with 50 drums and 100 small percussion uniting the theater in a singular, driving heartbeat.
From the deep resonance of the drumheads to the focused energy of internal martial arts, Primal Pulse is more than a performance—it is a shared, visceral journey into the core of our community. Don’t miss this unforgettable night of rhythm, dance, and motion right here in Oliver.
