The Legends Of Country Guitar show takes the listener on a voyage back to a time when country guitar was as much twang as it was smooth. The electric guitar was brand new and creativity soared. At the pinnacle of both guitar and Country Music was Chet Atkins. His influence on guitar is still heavily prevalent on guitarists. Chet also managed RCA Records in Nashville Tennessee where he singed artists and produced songs that made Country Music what it is today.
Join Dave Barber and his band as they performs the music of the early influences on Country guitar such as the Jazz of Django Reinhardt, the main players such as Merle Travis, Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins.
