About the Camp

Step right up for the most exciting week of summer! Green Fools Theatre Society is rolling into Oliver to host Circus Camp — a high-energy, laughter-filled, totally unforgettable adventure for kids aged 8 to 14.

From juggling and stilt-walking to unicycles, aerial skills, walking barrels and more, your child will explore a thrilling world of circus magic. No experience necessary — just curiosity, courage, and a sense of fun!

🎭 Why circus?
Because it’s more than just clowning around! For Green Fools Co-Founder Dean Bareham, circus arts changed his life. “I was a teen who could have easily slipped through the cracks, and it gave me direction,” he says. Now with over 30 years of teaching experience, Dean has seen how circus brings kids together, builds confidence, and creates space for healthy risk-taking. “We want kids to know it’s okay to try, okay to fail, and awesome to keep going.”

🌟 The Grand Finale:
At the end of the week, campers will dazzle their families with a showcase performance of all they’ve learned — prepare to be amazed!
