Riding in the Osoyoos Area

The International Hike & Bike Trail follows the course of the Okanagan River channel from McAlpine Bridge on Highway 97 in the north to Osoyoos Lake in the south.

The total distance is 18.4km, of which nearly 10km is paved and there are many trailheads and parking areas that allow for easy access to this family friendly ride.

To access the Southern end of the trail, turn onto road 22 where you will find near the River Channel, a parking area with information kiosk. From here its a short ride to Osoyoos Lake or head north and ride towards Oliver.

Being agriculture area, the trail is well packed down through tractor use and offers a great option for riding at this time of year (Winter).
