Wine Capital Weekend – Festival of the Grape (Oliver Tourism)

Three Days Full Of Non-Stop Fun! Friday, Sept 22 to Sunday, Sept 24Oliver BC, Canada’s Wine Capital, is home to Wine Capital Weekend.

Friday is the Kick-Off Party at District Wine Village, followed by Saturday’s Cask & Keg, and last but not least on Sunday, Festival of the Grape, our premiere family-friendly event of the South Okanagan’s Wine Capital Weekend.

The Festival of the Grape, the highlight of the Wine Capital Weekend Festival, and home of the chaotic Grape Stomp Competition is the premiere wine tasting festival of the South Okanagan. Festival of the Grape presents a prime platform for wineries to showcase their exquisite wines.

The festival attracts more than 4,500 attendees annually who come to sample a variety of local and regional wines and dance to live music. In addition, you can indulge in mouth-watering food truck options, send your kids to a fun and interactive Kids Zone, shop at the artisan Merchant Market, and browse a two-day Fall Art Show and Sale.
