The POWER of Music™ featuring Marty Edwards. Yes, a concert featuring some very powerful songs/music that transcend generations, but also a concert that underlines the power music has in our lives.
Join an unforgettable musical experience that will transport you to a place where worries fade and memories soar. The POWER of Music™ is a labour of love for Marty, as he faithfully recreates songs originally recorded by some of his greatest musical influences – Tom Jones, Engelbert, Michael Bublé and other legends. Songs like “It’s Not Unusual”, “Save The Last Dance For Me”, “You’re My World”, and many more.
Marty has been entertaining fans for years, performing a variety of music genres, from Country to Classic Rock to Pop. Over the span of his successful career, he has travelled the world and been featured in several magazines and hundreds of tv, radio and newspaper interviews. Internationally, he is regarded as the #1 Kenny Rogers impersonators and has been seen on Oprah, Jay Leno and CNN shows. The POWER of Music™ is not a Tribute show like the “Kinda Kenny” show, it is a celebration of the music of some of the best known and most respected artists of our time.
Special Guest, international recording artist Betty Anne Northup is an engaging multi-talented musician, performing Rock, Jazz, Country, Folk and Pop genres. She has opened for the likes of Hoyt Axton and Mel Tillis. Betty Anne fills the theatre with her powerful vocals on her solo numbers as well as duets with Marty – not too be missed!
CROSSFIRE Rhythm & Horns is a 9-piece world-class band under the direction of veteran Malcolm Green. The band not only backs Marty and Betty Anne’s songs, but also delivers several instrumentals. To hear this group of musicians is exhilarating – it will be love at first SOUND!
