Formerly the Roots and Fruits Expo, kick off summer with a 10-day fun-for-all ages celebration June 13-22 2025

New dates, same fantastic family fun! This summer solstice we are embracing, the lake, the parks, and the sunshine.  

Smoke Show – June 13

Our 2025 event will kick off with the Smokeshow on June 13th, and the Oliver Family Days Festival in the Park Sunday June 15th. 

Put on in partnership with Oliver Firehall Brewery this event features local chefs, local foods and local beverages! Join us from 6:00-10:00PM in the Oliver Community Park.

Saturday June 14th

At 6:30PM, the District Wine Village centre plaza is transforming into an elegant, sunset dining experience. Seated at a round table with white tablecloths, flower center piece and the beautiful lights of the village, enjoy the wonderful food creations from Chef Ian along with great wines from the village wineries, live music and great company.

Oliver Family Days – June 15

The annual free festival in the Community Park returns 11:00-9:00PM June 15^th. This event will feature market vendors, food vendors, performers, children’s games and entertainment, crafts and a beverage garden.

Youth Solstice Swim – June 21

Come celebrate the longest day of the year with us! Youth ages 13-17 are invited to join in on the fun at the Oliver Pool from 8:30-10:00PM. 

The lifeguards will be hosting: Pool Games, Mocktails, Prizes, Karaoke, and Food

Free Admission. 

Go Skateboarding Day – June 21

Go Skate Day is back! From 12:00-4:00 the Oliver Small Wheels Park is the place to be! Expect skills competitions, prizes, art displays, food, drinks, and more! Participants should come with a helmet, a board, water bottle, and cash for snacks!

Then from 6:00PM – Head over to the Oliver Community Centre for the after party: Live music from local bands: the Mudrats, Full Known Nuisance, Stuck in Neutral, and 20 Willow. Tickets are $10.00
