The Secret Agent delivers a visually rich and ambitious political thriller set amid political turmoil in Brazil during the late 1970s under the repressive military dictatorship. Cannes Film Festival award winning actor, Wagner Moura, plays a technology expert forced into hiding and to seek help from the underground resistance as he tries to flee the country with his young son.

The film is described as “a thrillingly unpredictable, playfully shape-shifting epic steeped in history even as it feels remarkably contemporary.”
