Concert: Massey (Firehall Brewery)

Massey is a dark, dreamy folk-pop band from Penticton, BC led by Madison Whale and featuring Lisa Hughes, Sean Petersen, and Jared Jackel. Madison, in her curiously confessional songwriting style, explores the expanses encompassing heartache, longing, love and loss. Shining high above rolling country rhythms, Madison’s voice is clear, conscious and timelessly melodic.
Opening set by Vincent DeCowans. Hailing from the deep, organic roots of Cawston, BC, Vincent’s shabby-but-not-too-shabby mock-rock balladry is the perfect soundtrack for any evening down at the pub, especially with friends in tow and spirits flying high.
