My husband and I moved to Oliver in 2017 with plans to open a Bed and Breakfast. It was decided after spending many weekends in Oliver at a friend’s place. We enjoyed the wine tasting for sure, but it was the town, the people and the beautiful scenery that ultimately drew us here.
My whole career has been in Sales and Marketing, specifically in the horticultural industry. Travel forbusiness and pleasure created a thought of offering a bed and breakfast based on the best of what I had experienced. Hospitality is truly another form of sales and it felt like a natural fit. We were fortunate to find the right house that could be turned into a BnB that offered private entry for each suite, a beautiful salt water pool and a great view. Uncorked BnB was opened in the summer of 2018. I love what I do.
We get to showcase the best of the area to all of our guests.
