
On Saturday May 2nd, the popular Pig Out Festival returns to Cellar Door & More in Oliver. With the theme “Let’s Feast” and supported by B.C. Meats for B.C. Families, guests can savour unlimited, delicious bites and dishes from B.C chefs and producers, enjoy BBQ and cooking demonstrations, sip local wines and meet local winemakers and producers, enjoy live music and entertainment, and shop at the local artisan market, all surrounded by magnificent vineyard views.
Sixteen talented chefs, BBQ masters, butchers and producers are already confirmed to showcase their talents at culinary stations during the festival, with more to be announced.
Chef-led stations include: Chef Adair Scott from Terrafina Restaurant at Hester Creek Estate Winery; Chef Javier Blanc with Vancouver’s The Paella Guys; Chef Ian Stilborn from Ward’s Wine Country Kitchen; Chef Shawn Cheer from Sweetgrass Restaurant at Nk’Mip Cellars; Chef Steeve Ray from See Ya Later Ranch Kitchen; Chef Olivier Mainville with Pit Stop Smokery; Chef Kelly Adams withHighway 97 Brewery; Chef Tim Wheeldon from Giant’s Head Brewing; and legendary BBQ Pitmaster, Brian Misko of House of Q BBQ.
Pig Out Festival Weekend Returns May 1st – 3rd, 2026
Local, guest chefs and BC’s top butchers will unite to showcase their many talents. Join us May 2nd at Cellar Door and More for an afternoon featuring the region’s award-winning wineries, special craft beverage guests, delicious culinary creations, live theatre, artisan market and engaging demonstrations.
This elegant yet relaxed outdoor setting for attendees to uncork together will be an entertaining afternoon. This year’s theme “Let’s Feast” will be at the very root of all the festivities ranging from winery station themes to unique culinary menu twists, family activities and more.
The star of the show? All things protein. Talented chefs will be stationed throughout the location, preparing delectable pork-themed dishes. Expect a colorful celebration of the diverse food and culture of the Okanagan. Picnic the old-fashioned way and enjoy an afternoon of interactive samplings of award-winning wines, craft beverages from around the region, family activities and culinary delights.

Pig Out VIP: Gates open at 11:15am
Pig Out General Admission: Gates Open at 12:45pm
Note: Ticketholders will receive details by email in advance of the event. All ticket holders will be on a guest list at the entrances. Your confirmation is your proof of ticket purchase.
Transportation: Pick up locations and times will be shared closer to the event. Transportation ticket holders will receive an email closer to the date of the event.

The craft and passion of butchery goes hand in hand with culinary, the two coming together will bring magic to any dish. This collaboration ensures that this event is focussing on supporting the farmers, butchers, retail outlets, chefs and restaurants in BC.
