Guest Chef Roger Ma
Born in Vancouver, Roger trained at Michelin-starred Restaurant Daniel in NYC and became corporate sous chef for Chef Boulud, helping open restaurants in Toronto and Montreal. Returning home in 2014, he joined Boulevard as Chef de Cuisine, later becoming Executive Chef in 2018.
Under his leadership, Boulevard has gained national recognition, winning a gold medal at the Canadian Culinary Championships, being named Vancouver Magazine’s Restaurant of the Year in 2020, and having achieved a Michelin recommendation in 2023. Chef Ma credits his talented kitchen team for the restaurant’s success, emphasizing collaboration and innovation as key drivers for his culinary vision.
