SUMMARY:Nature Talks (Osoyoos Desert Centre)
DESCRIPTION:Drought Resistance in the Plants of the South Okanagan – Sunday August 31st \nWith just 12 inches of rain annually\, the South Okanagan antelope brush habitat is a difficult place to live as a plant. He will discuss the ways in which the native plants of the area have adapted to their environment on both the individual and ecosystem level. \nAll Nature Talks start at 11 am and are free with admission.\nAdmission: Family – $25 (Max 2 adults & children under 18); Adults – $10; Seniors (65+) – $9; Youth (ages 6-17) – $8; Children (5 and under) – Free\nAdmission to the Desert Centre includes either a guided or self-guided tour. Choose the option that works best for you.
