DESCRIPTION:COWBOY CHRISTMAS with Rob Dinwoodie & Friends\nCowboy Christmas is a delightful mix of song\, story\, poetry and drama capturing the “Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas”.  Rob Dinwoodie and band will bring you into the Christmas season by playing both new and favorite Christmas songs and carols that you’ve grown to love. Throughout the show\, a drama will unfold that will transport you to a Christmas in the early years of BC.  Jason Armstrong\, popular Okanagan DJ\, playwright and actor plays the part of Shorty Pringle of the historic Gang Ranch from the Chilcotin.  Jason depicts a cabin fevered cowboy looking for community in the winter of late 1800’s and the Christmas that changed his view of this occasion. \nRob Dinwoodie has been a singer songwriter for almost 4 decades with many venues and shows under his cowboy belt buckle.  A cowboy first and singer songwriter second\, Rob has entertained folks from around the world as he and his band Open Range have hosted the popular Cowboy Dinner Show at the Historic O’Keefe Ranch just north of Vernon.  His style ranges from pure western\, country\, swing with a touch of bluegrass.  Rob and Open Range have recorded 2 albums and are working on their newest recording to be released in 2024. \nKen Mather\,  popular historian\, author and cowboy poet will bring cowboy poetry and his special way of sharing the history of the region.  Ken has written 6 books on the BC west and has shared the stage with Rob for many years.  His poetry and stories will bring back memories of historic Okanagan Valley and some of the favorite personalities and Christmases past.\nWhat would Christmas be without a fiddle. Anjuli Dynna joins the musical troupe for this Christmas occasion.  She has played for the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra as well as in popular bands in the valley.  Anjuli will woe the audience with her mastery of this instrument as she both accompanies and plays some of the old time favorite Christmas songs.  Sing along to these favorites and enjoy the arrangements of songs that have made Christmas the favorite season of the year.\n​\nCowboy Christmas is sure to bring back fond memories of Christmas and is sure to be the highlight of your families Christmas season. \nTICKETS: Adults $40\, Students $15
