Join Mike Dedels\, Grasslands Conservation Council of BC Executive Director and learn about the different types of grasslands in the Okanagan and the ecological services that they provide. Mike will also talk about the main threats to grasslands\, including development\, encroachment\, and invasive plants. Get to know your grassland species and what the Grasslands Conservation Council of BC is doing to conserve these special places. \nAll Nature Talks start at 11 am and are free with admission.\nAdmission: Family – $25 (Max 2 adults & children under 18); Adults – $10; Seniors (65+) – $9; Youth (ages 6-17) – $8; Children (5 and under) – Free\nAdmission to the Desert Centre includes either a guided or self-guided tour.
