DESCRIPTION:Firehall Brewery is proud to present\, Penticton’s Will Schlackl! With 28 years experience as a public school teacher and at least that much experience as a private music instructor\, he has been able to share his love of music with people of all ages. He currently has over 200 public school students\, and over 40 private students. Some of his former students tour professionally and some have also gone on to become music educators.\nHe has performed in the past as guitarist in “The Thursday Night Jazz Band”\, “Faculty”\, and the Jazz Trio” Cube”. Will is the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band “Fluxx” which has perfomed as the house band for The Penticton Vees. Solo/duo/trio vocal-guitar gigs in venues around Okanagan have continued to be a source of pleasure for Will. \nThe latest project is the 5 piece rock band called “Jack N’ Jill”. It has taken off over the last six years. However\, he continues to perform solo acoustic all over the Okanagan. It is not uncommon to hear Roger Miller\, Johnny Cash\, Bob Dylan\, Neil Young\, with Guns and Roses and Metallica in the same set. There is something for everyone at his show. Entry by donation.
