With 28 years experience as a public school teacher and at least that much experience as a private music instructor\, he has been able to share his love of music with people of all ages. He currently has over 200 public school students\, and over 40 private students. Some of his former students tour professionally and some have also gone on to become music educators.\nHe has performed in the past as guitarist in “The Thursday Night Jazz Band”\, “Faculty”\, and the Jazz Trio” Cube”. Will is the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band “Fluxx” which has perfomed as the house band for The Penticton Vees. Solo/duo/trio vocal-guitar gigs in venues around Okanagan have continued to be a source of pleasure for Will. \nThe latest project is the 5 piece rock band called “Jack N’ Jill”. It has taken off over the last six years. However\, he continues to perform solo acoustic all over the Okanagan. It is not uncommon to hear Roger Miller\, Johnny Cash\, Bob Dylan\, Neil Young\, with Guns and Roses and Metallica in the same set. There is something for everyone at his show. Entry by donation. DESCRIPTION:Firehall Brewery is releasing the “Smokin’ Tumblweed” Whisky Barrel Blonde with a special music event\, inspired by chansonnier nights of Québec and the Maritime provinces. Local musician Sean Petersen will perform classic tunes that everyone knows the words to\, and the point is to drop the lights and have the whole room sing along. The past three Pub Choir Nights have been very popular and is turning into a monthly event\, so here we go! You don’t know what you’ve been missing until you’ve experienced a Pub Choir night. Please bring a few donation dollars for Sean’s fine musicianship.\n“Smokin’ Tumbleweed” Whisky Barrel Blonde: This double-barrel blonde was aged 12 months in two whisky barrels procured from our friends at Tumbleweed Spirits Craft Distillery: one rye barrel and one bourbon barrel. The barrels were blended together to produce this potent brew\, marrying the two whisky flavour profiles. Aromas of smoked apple and almond cake tease the nose\, followed by honey-drizzled grains and toasted oak on the palate\, finishing with a clove tingle on the tongue. The alcohol strength is… well\, let’s just say that creating this beer description has rendered one brewmaster unable to drive. Consume responsibly\, or risk a tumble! \nPlease note that seating is first-come-first-serve\, and don’t forget donation cash for the artist!
