He is also the subject of the CraveTV/HBO Canada documentary Funny Tweets!Kate Belton is known for her sweet\, silly\, and often spicy stage presence. She produces a monthly comedy show aptly named “Silly Sally” which consistently sells out at Bernie’s in Kelowna.Alison Lujan is an off-grid homesteader\, a tattoo artist and one hell of a funny comedian. This is the third time that she has hosted our comedy in the cellar event.

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, Aug 31\, Firehall Brewery and Respect Record & Skate are proud to present… Mudrats! Entry by donation. \n\nMudrats are your local\, 6-piece\, teenage rock band from Oliver\, BC\, playing a plethora of classic covers of names such as The Beatles\, Dire Straits\, and the Tragically Hip\, plus some new originals. The band consists of Ezra Toon on bass and lead vocals\, Tommy Racz and Silas McCallister on guitars and vocals\, Edwin Lee on lead and rhythm guitar\, Sam Lee on keys\, and Rocky Toon on drums. With a random group of kids put together for a Toonmade School of Rock performance\, the band quickly decided to form Mudrats in winter of 2023 – and have gained a hefty fan base with their reputation for loveable gigs. The band has started to write originals to share on top of their seriously enjoyable performances. The talent and skill of these youth are not something to miss; Mudrats bring the energy\, feel\, and passion you haven’t heard in ages. \n\nMINORS: due to licensing\, minors must be accompanied by a parent/gaurdian\, and must vacate when food service ends at 8pm. \n\nEntry by donation ($10-20/person recommended). Since officially forming the Cheng² Duo at their 2011 Carnegie Weill Recital Hall debut\, their artistry has left lasting impressions across the globe\, with extensive tours to illustrious concert halls and international festivals throughout North America\, Europe\, Asia and South Africa. \n\n​In the vanguard of creative programming\, Bryan and Silvie are equally committed to presenting traditional masterworks\, rediscovering neglected repertoire\, and championing the music of their time. Since 2013\, they have commissioned and arranged 15 new works\, as well as curated cross-disciplinary concert experiences that meld classical and contemporary music with jazz\, poetry\, and visual/media arts.
