DESCRIPTION:A fun day to explore the arts at the Quail’s Nest Arts Centre! Indoors and out! Sit under the marquee to listen to some folk music\, or wander the booths around the perimeter and inside. Art demos\, exhibits\, art and hand-crafted goods for sale\, information booths\, upcoming events news\, meet the artists! Make-and-take crafts and other artsy activities. \n\nBadgentina\, aka Toonmade\, will be singing and playing at the Quail’s Nest Open House\, Sunday May 19 from 10 am to 3 pm! They perform folk-rock fusion music. Think Jackson Browne meets KD Lang meets the Indigo Girls! It’ll get your toes tapping and your heart singing!\n\n\nThe Open House also features exhibits and sales booths from members and member groups of the Oliver Community Arts Council\, along with food from the Law of Attraction food truck and a bake sale from the Sage Valley Voices community choir. There will be door prizes and lots of friendly faces\, along with the great music! Fun for the whole family.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Hello and Welcome! I’m Aidan Mayes – musician\, teacher\, artist\, singer/songwriter\, business owner and proud Okanagan woman. I live and breathe music and it’s my purpose and greatest passion to share my gift with music lovers like yourself. After enjoying my childhood and teen years in Penticton\, BC\, I moved to Victoria to attend the Canadian College of Performing Arts where I graduated with honours. Following my studies I spent a decade playing different stages across Canada. I then returned home to the Okanagan Valley permanently as a music teacher and performing artist.
